transcosmos Vietnam — a corporate website built to group standards

Development, deployment and ongoing maintenance of the bilingual corporate website of transcosmos Vietnam, part of the Japanese transcosmos group. ForTech built the first site in 2021 and maintained it for years. In 2026 transcosmos redesigned the site, and ForTech provided the technical consulting, development and deployment, then continued to maintain and secure it to the group’s standards.

PROJECT STORY

From problem to product

  1. 01

    The challenge

As part of an international group, transcosmos Vietnam holds its website to enterprise standards. It has to stay fast on desktop and mobile despite rich images, video and animation, be easy for the team to manage in two languages, protect the personal data visitors share, and stay secure. The group scans its web systems for vulnerabilities on a regular schedule, so security is an ongoing responsibility rather than a launch checklist.

  2. 02

    What we built

For the 2026 rebuild, transcosmos designed the site and ForTech advised on the technical approach, then developed and deployed it: a Next.js front end with a headless Strapi CMS, Vietnamese and English content, smooth animations, and images and video optimised for each screen size to keep pages fast on desktop and mobile. The content admin is designed for non-technical editors, and personal data from forms is handled in line with data protection requirements. Security follows the group’s principles for systems, data connections and data use, with a hardened web server, HTTPS and strict security headers. ForTech handed over technical documentation and clear user guides.

  3. 03

    What the website enabled

transcosmos Vietnam has a fast, secure bilingual website that its team runs on its own, looked after by a partner that has maintained the site since 2021. ForTech works to a higher standard than the agreed requirements and helps beyond the agreed scope when the site needs it, and the security work continues as part of every maintenance cycle.

TIMELINE

How the partnership grew

  1. 2021

    The first website

ForTech built and deployed the previous transcosmos Vietnam website, a Nuxt front end with a Strapi CMS.

  2. 2021–2026

    Monthly maintenance

A monthly maintenance plan kept the site updated and running: content support, fixes, upgrades and responses to the group’s security scans.

  3. 2026

    The rebuild

transcosmos redesigned the website. ForTech provided the technical consulting, then developed and deployed the new Next.js and Strapi site.

  4. 2026–present

    Maintenance and security

A new maintenance plan covers the rebuilt site, with continuous security work alongside day-to-day support.

SCOPE

What the work covers

  • Bilingual content, simple admin

Vietnamese and English throughout, managed in one CMS with an admin designed for non-technical editors.

  • Fast media on every screen

Images and video optimised and served per screen size, so animated, media-rich pages stay fast on desktop and mobile.

  • Vulnerability remediation

ForTech investigates the findings from the group’s vulnerability scanning tools and fixes them, round after round.

  • Upgrades and infrastructure

Framework, tool and operating system versions kept current, with network, firewall and IP whitelist configuration maintained.

  • Data protection

User data protection, system security, data connections and data use follow the group’s policies.

  • Documentation and support

Technical documentation and user guides at handover, and support that goes beyond the agreed scope when the site needs it.
